SSA  is an organisation which promotes sport to younger children, focusing on building, or rebuilding, confidence without any negative attitudes or pressure. Our coaches and standards are of the highest quality. We work on a full time  within the schools environment , overseeing hundreds of  children a week during the school timetable and holidays.

Our main aim is to keep continuity in the schools so the children get to familiarise themselves with us leading to a better interaction.

Being good role models for the children is our focal point ; looking smart, showing good manners and all the small details which at times can be lost.

All coaches are DBS checked, police vetted, qualified and have experience working with children of all ages, abilities and disabilities. We also have public liability insurance and employers liability of £5m. The coaches also hold their own personal ID sheets from us for the schools to verify the coaches when they attend site and reference it to the central record we send you in advance.

We have worked in the
Croydon and Bromley Borough for 15 years and continue to grow in the local community supplying a stress-free service. We take care of the sessions and have developed our own program to target all children’s needs and found that working within schools long term, from nursery through to when they leave, is a great success. You get to know the children, their behavior, strengths and nature.

All our sessions are targeted for KS1 & KS2 primary aged children. We are continuously providing professional development for our coaches and we are currently recognised as a centre to deliver community sports leader awards and many CPD course and currently completing the specialism in PE course through Val Sabin.

Continued professional development of staff (CPD)

At SSA  our training continues throughout the year having staff training days which we hold over all holiday breaks to continue our professional high standards.

Our latest courses are Val Sabin SIIPE, Place2be training, Autism Training and Positive Management in Sport, Level 3 in Sports Coaching and a Pediatric First Aid which is Ofsted and ourselves required when working with children along with the safeguarding training.

At SSA the safeguarding is extremely important and we take great care in the recruitment at SSA to make sure all team members are clear to work in any one of our schools.
